Elaine Gartner lives on the edge of the city and the forest in Frisco, Texas with her loving husband and rambunctious twin boys. A lifelong student of spirituality and holism, the author is also a longtime champion of children’s literature and the difference it can make in young lives.
She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration in filmmaking and literature, and went on to not use that degree at all by becoming a certified Reflexologist and a certified Face Reader. She is now immersed in the world of mommyhood, face reading, and authorship--aka exactly where she wants to be. The Far Corners is Elaine's big debut and blends together all the things she loves-- spirituality, fantasy, philosophy, and talking animals, of course! Excited to share with the world the book that was nine years in the making, she is gearing up for her sophomore effort, a hilarious autobiographical account of all the outrageous jobs she held in her twenties.
